Identifying, assessing and controlling, if not eliminating hazards, has never been more important. Preventable tragedies happen every day in Ontario workplaces and it’s not okay.
Workers are critically injured. Others are exposed to hazards which lead to debilitating and often life-altering illness. Still more are killed, some by traumatic workplace incidents, and others by occupational diseases like cancer. Not to mention what the virus that causes COVID-19 has taught us in the last two years about
new and deadly hazards.
Quality
training with the aim of prevention is a step in the right direction.
