At WHSC, we consistently deliver quality training in highly engaging, real-time, instructor-led classrooms. However, our approach also recognizes diverse workplace training needs.
This is especially true of our Certification training options for joint health and safety committees. This summer and into the fall you and your co-workers can choose from English or
French, and
in-person or virtual classrooms, each scheduled in publicly available courses or available to those sponsoring courses for “onsite” or “in-house” delivery. Scheduled in-person courses are also offered in many major centres across Ontario.
While our
Certification Part I and
Certification Refresher training are common to workplaces in all sectors of the economy, our
Certification Part II options are offered in
several sector streams or individual
hazard modules designed for workplaces to build their own program. Of course, these choices are in addition to our
Certification Part II — General Program that addresses hazards common to most workplaces.

scheduled options.

All Workers Health & Safety Centre Certification training programs are approved by the Chief Prevention Officer at Ontario’s Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development. As such
all meet mandatory requirements set out in the province’s Certification training standards.
