Need ready access to high quality workplace health and safety training? We can help.
Workers Health & Safety Centre (WHSC) is Ontario’s only government-designated occupational health and safety training centre. We provide training for workers, their representatives, supervisors, and employers, in public and private sector workplaces of every size, industry, and region of Ontario.
We offer health and safety training courses in instructor-led online, virtual classrooms and physical, in-person training facilities. We can bring on-site training to you at group discounts, or you can register for any number of our cost-effective scheduled courses. We partner with several organizations to bring you quality in-person training in nearby communities. And increasingly we are building training facilities of our own.
WHSC facilities are designed with learners in mind – spacious, bright, and with flexible class configurations to support interaction and collaboration. Hands-on training stations allow participants to demonstrate essential skills such as the use of lifelines for workers at heights, setup and use of rope grabs for fall arrest and ladder use, the safe startup and shutdown of propane powered heaters and torches, and proper lockout/tagout procedures.
Each facility is also designed as a regional hub, from which we coordinate all training.
Let’s get started. You can search our entire training catalogue and schedule, including mandatory health and safety Certification training for joint health and safety committees and training for working at heights. Or you can search by training organized for each region by our facility situated within the region. See your options below.
