Ontario’s health and safety landscape has shifted. The Ministry of Labour assumed responsibility for the province’s prevention system April 1, 2012—this in addition to their enforcement role.
New health and safety standards are also in the works but, for now, workplaces must comply with existing training standards and other regulations designed to control workplace hazards. Not sure if your training is current and compliant?
Fortunately, the Workers Health & Safety Centre (WHSC) can help you understand and meet your legal training obligations. Start by reviewing our promotional package titled, Stay the Course. Keep Training. It lists our current community-based training schedule and explains how we can work with you to identify your legal obligations and help you quickly comply.
